Summer Travel Tips to Stay Pain-Free on the Road

School is out, temperatures are rising, and it is the season for adventure and road trips. The excitement of these excursions doesn’t have to bring aches, pains, and discomfort, though. Enjoy your summer and stay pain free on the road with these travel tips.

Use Lumbar Support

Support your low back during long rides by placing a small pillow or rolled up blanket between your lower back and the seat. To further benefit, maintain good posture during the drive!

Adjust Your Seat

Position your seat so your feet are flat on the floor, knees at a 90–degree angle, and you’re aligned with the steering wheel, if driving. Keep your head up and shoulders back, avoiding slouching.

Take Breaks and Stretch Often
