What to Expect At Your First Visit

Whether you are new to chiropractic or new to Dr. Isaiah, we strive to make your experience feel welcoming with plenty of time to answer your questions. Understanding what happens during your first appointment can help you feel confident and ready to begin your journey toward better health and mobility.

Welcome & Initial Paperwork

Upon entering our office, you will be greeted by a team member at the front desk. They will provide a few brief forms to help us understand your health history, lifestyle, and areas of pain or concern. This information provides Dr. Isaiah with a clearer picture of your overall wellness so he can personalize your care.

Consultation

Next, you will meet with Dr. Isaiah for a one-on-one conversation. This is your time to share what brought you in, whether it be back pain, headaches, mobility issues, or general wellness. He may ask questions about your daily activities, posture, previous injuries, or stress levels to uncover possible contributing factors.

Chiropractic Adjustment

Dr. Isaiah will perform the first adjustment during your first visit. Adjustments are precise movements meant to restore proper alignment and function in your spine or joints. Dr. Isaiah will tailor treatment based on his examination, along with his assessment of needs during our initial conversations.

Personalized Care

Before you leave, Dr. Isaiah will explain his findings and recommend a care plan tailored to your needs. This may include additional adjustments, simple stretches, or posture tips/exercises to help you see the best results. His goal is long-term wellness and prevention, in addition to pain relief. At Griesbach Chiropractic, you will never be locked into a rigid schedule of adjustments. We personalize your treatment with each visit and may make recommendations for scheduling future appointments, but we trust that you will do what is best for your overall care.

Post-Adjustment

Following your first adjustment, it is common to feel lighter, looser, or more relaxed. Some patients may experience mild soreness, which is temporary as your body begins to adapt to proper spinal alignment. Staying hydrated and continuing gentle movements can help your body adjust smoothly.

At Griesbach Chiropractic, we value the partnerships created with our patients and appreciate that you entrust us with your care.
